With a clear influence from Alicia Keys (and indeed, one of her previous releases was a cover of ‘Empire State Of Mind’), Marïe Pratt wrote the R&B track in honour of her own sister, who is one of those very women with a dream, and the lines,

“And I wish she could see herself the way I look at her, cause I think she’s not fighting for her dreams and she should realize that she is a star”
